Idi Di Marzo Apassimento Carnalis

A rich and intense Appassimento wine made with Primitivo and Montepulciano grapes from the Abruzzo and Puglian region of Eastern and Southern Italy. Appassimento wines are created by drying the grapes either on the vine, or often on mats, resulting in grapes that shrivel, intensifying  the flavour. The nose has is rich and intense with sweet chocolate and dark sour cherry , and heady floral notes. The palate is a beautiful complex mix of dark berries, sweet plum and earthy forest floor notes. A red wine for those who enjoy a rich , ripe full bodied red.  A vegan wine of true intensity.
